The Great Transition
06/12/12 18:03
Due to Blue Hazard’s recent performances at louder venues and hopes for more shows at louder venues, the band is thrilled to announce that they have installed pickups into each of their instruments and will use them as amplification instead of microphones on microphone stands. What does this mean you might ask? It means many of things. 1) No more feedback from any of our instruments. 2) The ability to add certain effects to our live shows to make it as close to “This World of Mine” as possible. 3) The freedom to move around across the stage and still be heard. 4) The ability to amplify our show much, much louder. And Finally, 5) We have a lot of work to do to master our new equipment. We made sure to purchase the highest quality equipment to preserve the absolute most natural acoustic sound we can. We love hearing the pure sound of our music and we have tried to preserve it as best as possible. If you haven’t heard us perform in a while then come out and see our new show. We are now free to play every and any venue and because of this fact, are thoroughly thrilled.

New Sounds for the New CD
07/05/12 10:58
Blue Hazard is on the cusp of finishing their most recent full-length CD and are thrilled with the results thus far. One of the most appealing aspects of this new project is the fact that Blue Hazard has two members who have never previously recorded with the band. Clara and Uriah have added great quality and creativity to this album and we are so thrilled for everyone to hear their great additions to the Blue Hazard CD collection. Clara adds her breath taking vocals to both harmony and lead vocals while Uriah introduces flashy, intricate, and beautiful banjo melodies and rhythm. Clara will be featured as lead singer on one track revealing a powerful voice with character and purity. Uriah, on the other hand, has written an original banjo instrumental that is sure to captivate any listeners due to its melodic ingenious and rhythmic explosion. Beyond these two individual tracks, both Clara and Uriah use their creativity and unique musical voices to help shape and mold this entire CD into Blue Hazard’s best album ever. Purchase our new record this summer to hear these new sounds of our new CD.
