One of the most appealing aspects of this new project is the fact that Blue Hazard has two members who have never previously recorded with the band. Clara and Uriah have added great quality and creativity to this album and we are so thrilled for everyone to hear their great additions to the Blue Hazard CD collection. Clara adds her breath taking vocals both to harmony and lead vocals while Uriah introduces flashy, intricate, and beautiful banjo melodies and rhythm. Clara will be featured as lead singer on one track revealing a powerful voice with character and purity. Uriah, on the other hand, has written an original banjo instrumental that is sure to captivate any listeners due to its melodic ingenious and rhythmic explosion. This is the seventh year of a rapidly growing festival and we are so pleased to have the opportunity to perform and jam with so many good friends and people in Pine River. Lakes festival is run by our good friends - Tim and Cindy Roggenkamp. The Roggenkamps have done a wonderful job with this first class event and we hope you can attend and enjoy all of the live music, jamming, food, and entertainment during the weekend of August 23-26. We are very pleased to announce that we will be a main stage performer at the MBOTMA August festival in Richmond, MN during the August of 2012. Blue Hazard began at this festival and always enjoys playing for so many friends and family involved in MBOTMA. If you have never been to this event please try to attend this year. It is a first class festival and full of fun and good music. We will have multiple shows through out the whole weekend and will be unveiling a good portion of our new music to be featured on our new album. It will be a show you won’t want to miss. All three of the Gruber siblings got married this last year. The oldest, Hannah, married Chris Johnson in March. Now she is Hannah Johnson. Luke married Nicole Sweet in May and the youngest, Dale, married Hannah Deiss in June. Set to be released in 2012, this new CD is the best music the band has ever created. Filled with Blue Hazard written music, this album is sure to be the bands most original sound and music yet. In this project the band has set out to make their own sound. The music is truly “Blue Hazard” and we believe it is Blue Hazard’s finest work yet.

The Miseners (Hannah, Luke and Dale’s sister’s family) have two children under the age of ten who are battling and have battled life threatening medical conditions through their lives. The Band has recently added the highly talented and extremely gifted banjo player Uriah Nibbe to the group. Uriah is 20 years old from Buffalo, MN. He recently graduated from BCTC (Bluegrass Community and Technical College) in Kentucky.
